How it works

Standard: HL7 v2 data types (NM, SI, DT, TM, DTM, ID, IS, ST)

Formula: Each map line: field number, datatype, optional maximum length

Checks: Non-numeric NM; invalid DT, TM and DTM values; length over the declared maximum; ID/IS table membership is not checked
